This extension in Menzies Creek by CLB Building reinterprets the existing home through a confident, contemporary addition. Rather than replicating the original, the design introduces a distinct new layer—defined by deep tones, clean geometry, and expressed timber structure, creating a clear distinction between the old and new.

The outdoor area becomes a key connector, providing a sheltered transition that anchors the extension to the landscape and encourages year round use.

Inside, the bathroom adopts a quieter, more refined expression. Soft tiling, brushed brass fixtures and pared-back joinery create a calm, tactile space that complements the boldness of the exterior, resulting in a cohesive yet intentionally varied outcome.
