This Mt Dandenong project by CLB Building focuses on a simple but impactful move, expanding the existing window openings to transform how the home engages with its surroundings. By extending the glazing, the living area is reoriented toward the landscape, drawing in natural light and framing uninterrupted views of the garden.

The introduction of large-format, windows creates a strong architectural feature while maintaining a refined, minimal profile. This approach not only increases daylight penetration but also enhances the sense of volume within the space, making the interior feel more open and connected.

Careful detailing ensures the new work integrates seamlessly with the existing structure, resulting in a considered upgrade that elevates both the spatial experience and the home’s relationship to its forest setting.
